Apple tv profile cannot be installed.

Hi. Could you give a few more details leading up to this failure? Are you using Apple TV 2 (silver remote) or Apple TV 4 (small black remote)? If it's Apple TV 4 with the latest tvOS 10.2, you may need to update your Apple Configurator 2. What do you not see in Configurator: the profile or the Apple TV? What on-screen activities do you mean? In tvOS, if you go to Settings > General > Privacy > Share Apple TV Analytics and hit Play on the remote, you can download a profile from a URL. You might try that option.

Hello. I'm having the same issue installing a profile, but was able to install the same profile prior to the tvOS10.2 update. The message I'm getting from AppleConfigurator (2.4): "Configurator requires user interaction to install the profile “Mark-Macbook13” on “TVos-ME” because it is not supervised." On the AppleTV: Install Profile screen: When I select Install, I get a Warning message about a Unmanaged Root Certificate and that the profile is unsigned. After accepting the warning and proceeding, Done is displayed but the profile is not installed on the device

Hi MDW99. Are you possibly affected by a change in Apple's certificate policy? See link: Lists of available trusted root certificates in iOS - Apple Support.

No much more I can say here. Could your profile be incompatible with the current tvOS? Maybe using an outdated or removed certificate? Can you build the profile anew with Configurator 2?
