Can I store my drivers license in wallet?

I was wondering if you can store a drivers license in wallet

The short answer is , yes. The long answer is that the issuer must support digital passes. I know most of the country thinks Alabama is bassackwards when it comes to most issues, but Alabama was one of the first to offer a digital ID that also works with Wallet. If Apple took the attitude that ”it wont be accepted anyway” there would be no new innovation.

Hertz will accept an email on your phone from the state showing your license. Why not put a drivers license in wallet. If its secure enough for a credit card, it should be secure enough for a license. Cops will look you up independently and car Rental places would support it (cause the states who issue the licenses would have to issue their own app to app store.
