is "i" a trademark of Apple? Can I use "i" in front of one of my (personal/non-Apple) products?

I'm planning to launch a product which has the letter "i" in front of it, in its name.

I'm not sure if "i" is a trademark of Apple. If so which would lead me to change the name of my product.

Please help me to absorb more knowledge on this matter.

Thank you people (:

Depends if it how closely related your product or service is to another similar product and service.

Instead of asking us here I would consider contacting an attorney, which AFAIK none of us are and should not be consulted for any legal council whatsoever.

No, a company can't have a trademark for a single letter. My advice is just be very careful about launching a product or starting a website with the letter "i" at the front, especially for anything remotely similar to Apple's products. I would also suggest contacting a trademark lawyer if you have any further questions. They have an answer for all your trademark questions. For more information on Apple trademarks, click here. You can also contact Apple's trademark team here.
