Want to bypass 100Mb Cellular Data limit on updating and downloading APP? Here is the answer.
By the way, before I really starting to post. I want to say I am still wondering why the Apple Community only provide the option to "Ask the question". We can post a lot of other things I think, like just the answer. Am I the first person to do that? Oh, that is exciting.≧ω≦
Anyway, Here it comes!
Could anyone answer me this one million dollar question? Anybody hate the 100Mb limit on IPhone? I hate it when the first day I purchased the IPhone, and that was in 2013. I even saw a post that posted in 2008 asked the same question about it. Poor guy, has the unlimited 3G/4G plan just couldn't use it. NOBODY, nobody could provide any solution to that. It *****, isn't it? Jailbreak might could solve this problem, I don't know, but there are punch of people who never consider Jailbreak as an option. Fortunately,I have found out a way to deal with it recently. And I can't wait any more to tell this good news to other IPhone users.
The way bypass the 100Mb Cellular Data limit:
1.Turn off your Wifi.
2.Find the APP you want to download or update on App Store. Click to download or update it.
3.When it shows the note about "blah blah 100Mb blah", click OK, and leave it there.(Do Not stop the download or update!!!)
4.Turn on Airplane Mode. Then restart your IPhone.
5.Once your finished restarting, go to the App Store. Right there should be "no connection". Now, Turn off your Airplane Mode. DONE! One of the longest mysteries in IOS history has now been solved.
Tip: After step 5, your app should be downloading or updating automatically. If you failed, just check all of your steps, and try again.
This method works with the App larger than 1 Gb on IOS 10.2.1. I am pretty sure that it could also work on lots of other versions very well.
This is my first post in Apple community website. Hope this post is hopeful. Bye-bye. (≧ω≦)/
