Yeah I was reading up about consumer law and it says Upto six years you can get something fixed no matter about warranty but I need to find out where it was purchased as it's the sellers responsibility under this law not manu
I guess you are referring to a used device? If you purchased it, you would know that. What exactly are you trying to find out by this date?
Hi , no I didn't buy it I took over the monthly payments from a friend who couldn't afford it and now the wifi and Bluetooth are not working so wanted to try and get it fixed

Okay, then it is no longer under warranty. You can still have the device examined by Apple at the Genius Bar and they will explain your options once they check the device.
You can try contacting Apple. I'm not familiar with your consumer laws, but I would think your friend you took payments over from can assist. Six years is a long time for an electronic product.
how can i find out where my ipad was purchased and date
