Apple Remote Desktop Questions???

Hi all.

Where I work we want to be able to use ARD for our Macs (about 70). But we are on a non-flat network. I don't think that the scanning that ARD has will work for us. We want to be able to create a list in ARD and be able to remote in and manage out macs. Also its needs to be able to carry over passwords from accounts as well as administrator accounts.

Any body know away we can do this?

I'm not really sure how to start this or approach it any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks

There are multiple scanners. One is a network range scanner that can operate outside your subnet. Another option is to use the file import scanner which attempts to read any text file and pull addresses from it. It's always possible to add computers manually by address. In the latest version of the app, it's possible to archive and restore a computer list with the passwords intact.
