How to turn off question about external network connections in apps?

After updating my late 13" Retina MacBook Pro to MacOS Sierra, I have begun to get prompt for apps to ...deny of allow network connections. How may I turn off this function. I do not like to allow apps to make automatic network connections.

Thanks for any suggestion.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013), OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), 1 TB Flash Drive, 16 GB RAM

Hi,

Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall > click on lock > enter password > Firewall Options > check or uncheck box next to "Block all incoming connections" (I'm not quite sure which way you want it to work) > you may also select specific apps to block or allow in the window just below it by clicking on the plus or minus sign below it, or the up/down arrows next to the listed apps > you also have to the choice to "Automatically allow signed software to receive incoming connections:" check or uncheck box as desired > click on OK when finished.

Thank you for replying tsk.

I have tried all of these and they don't seem to do anything. Fort example, all Microsoft Office apps are set up to "Block all incoming connections" and yet, upon launching any of them, a window opens up asking to Allow or Deny Incoming Connections.

I don't want to Block All Incoming Connections. I only want to block selected apps from receiving incoming connections and I don't want to see the window asking me to Allow or Deny Incoming Connections for apps that I have selected to Block Incoming Connections for.

Is it possible to accomplish this?
