Apple TV 4 Device Requirements message

Hi. There are several threads on this subject, for example link: Device Requirements Dialog pops up every 30 seconds on Apple TV tvOS 10.2. tvOS 10.2 has made Require Device Verification the minimum security level for AirPlay. This has broken some 3rd party programs that apparently attempt an AirPlay connection just to see of the device supports it. These programs cannot handle the current protocol, and that triggers the message. Known culprits so far are the Plex app on Android devices, Stremio on a Mac, and certain NAS servers. Most of these scanners can be turned off, except Stremio. Please review the devices and computers on your network, looking for media player or server programs that might be doing this.

Hi BrownfromBologna. This is a new feature of tvOS 10.2, so it only affects Apple TV 4. My list of apps is not exhaustive. Check for media server or player programs on your devices and computer. Even though they're all Apple products, you may have installed a 3rd-party app that's doing this. And you should let Apple know by reporting it at this link: https://www.apple.com/feedback/appletv.html.

Same problem here. I have an iMac with the latest os version, also have 2 iPhones and 3 iPads, everything is in the latest version. Since the latest tvOS update I keep getting the message "this airplay connection requires ios 7.1...".

I've lokked for all devices in my network, and no of the apps, I use a vodafone revolution connected with LAN cable to a time capsule machine, and 1 mac Book Pro, 2 iphones and 1 HP printer connected in this network....

With an Apple TV 3rd generation I had no problem
