Is the version of FCP trial different than the actual version available for purchase?

I downloaded the Trial version today. Also downloaded the free lessons from the Mac App Store. The layout shown in the lessons differs than that of the trial version and a few descriptions hint at the Trial version being a older version. E.g. Events versus projects.

Anyone experienced something similar?

The current version is 10.3.2.

There is a trial version of 10.3.2 and it is identical to the paid version as Karsten said.

However, for reasons that are irrelevant except for old users, there is also a trial of an older version, 10.2.3.

Just click on Final Cut Pro->About Final Cut Pro to check which version you have.
