Hi
Tap the "123" button, which allows numbers and other characters - including the colon - to be entered.
I have encountered this problem as well - for email address fields, password entry, etc.
It seems there are several punctuation characters that are excluded along with ":" - no parens, semi-colon, double-quote, backslash ... why exclude all these?

How do I find the colon on the iPhone keypad?
There are certain kinds of fields, like email address, where the colon is not present on the keyboard, and a workaround like copy/paste or text replacement is required. Let us know if this is what you are talking about.
