How do I stop the two-factor autentication notifications from continuously popping up on my phones? I already turned this feature off on my apple id account. My phones keep popping up notifications even though I've never set up two-factor autentica

I'm just trying to find out how to stop my phone from popping up notifications about two-factor authentication. I have turned this feature off on my apple id account and have never set it up on my phones. I am constantly seeing a pop up notification for two-factor authentication and my Setting app is constantly showing the red badge app icon notification. It is a bit annoying. Can anyone help? I've tried searching and am just too ignorant. I just get more and more frustrated trying to find some help.

To be fair, I don't know who you are or who you think you are; though I don't appreciate being called stupid. Just because you don't understand my posts doesn't mean I have "a lack of knowledge". I never "made a first request to sign in to a secure service" and was never sent "a verification code". That is one of the big points of my entire issue. I like how you went to the typical response for someone who doesn't know what is going on or a solution and just suggested that I 'reimage' the thing. I don't need to restore my device to fix an issue I didn't cause. I don't know why I am loyal to Apple when they don't seem to care about me and I never seem to receive any actual help. No need to send me anymore suggestions. I've figured it out on my own today and didn't have to go Scorched Earth on my phones to fix it. Feel free to hurl some additional insults my why, if it makes you feel superior; perhaps pick on my spelling or grammar or something.

This does not work, it just keeps coming up an hour later asking me to use two factor authentication. Even the apple support people highly recomend against two factor autentication because it constantly gets messed up and locks you out. it simply causes major problems and data loss they said. So why does Apple keep popping up annoying me to turn on something that is buggy and causes data loss? , i said no at least ten times now and it keeps coming back...

So Friggin Aggravating. An apple rep on phone advice me to not use their two factor authentication because it does nothing but cause headaches and lock outs. Yet now apple forcing me into it, i clear message and it comes back less than a hour later. My guess i have 5 year old iPad and they want me to buy new that i can't afford. So first they make it run butt *** slow with their forced updates and now they are probably trying to lock up my devices like they did you.. So Frustrated... also i wanted to push helpful button on your post and apple has it grayed out so that we can't raise you post to the top. Thus why i am responding. I hope some how you got things worked out...

Hi As Well KimVonBerg, first time using apple support and yep they censored and deleted my message. Obviously you are correct, apple and/or it's employees are anti make america great. Well i will be. America is no longer Free with bemamoths like this.

i guess apple has no desire to fix the problem, you do what Apple says or else. What good is a support forum if they are going to delete our requests for help to get around an annoying bug or intemtional popup to turn a feature on we don't want. Why dont they just answer with a solution rather than delete my posts and request for help. Grrr, apple really losing me here, was gonna get my Dad an iPad for Christmas, Apple just made me decide it will not be an Apple tablet now.

They probably ban me for good now... Peace Out KimVonBerg..

i am guessing Apple did not want public a reminder of their troubled past and bail out by MFST..

if you ever find a solutin or workaround to Apples bug (undocumented featur) i hope you can somehow notify me through this column.

I travel out of the country and switch to a local SIM card (removing my Verizon SIM card). I often travel where there isn't Wifi. For me, there is no way to use 2 factor authentication. Having these alerts several times a day to "turn it on,"is annoying like others here complain about and we simply just want to "opt out" of this feature.
