Can't Import video from SD card to iPad Pro

Can anyone tell me how I can get my iPad Pro to import video files from an SD card?

I don't shoot a lot of video but I've shot a few recently on my Panasonic LX100 (using Rec Format AVCHD with 4K Photo set to "Off"), and the resulting files just don't show up in the Photos import when I put the SD card in my Apple Camera Connection and connect it to the iPad Pro (using 30-pin to Lightning adapter) and don't get imported.

Not sure what's going on here and Googling yields almost nothing relevant. If I've missed something on this site please direct me to the appropriate thread(s)....

Any suggestions welcome... TIA

If by chance you can find an Apple store or a good Apple reseller, you need any of these adapters to connect your camera to the iPad via USB.

Do you have the other part of the camera connection kit (the USB connection portion) where you can connect the actual camera to the iPad Pro via the camera's USB connection cable and try to transfer the video that is on the SD card to the iPad using the camera's USB mode?

You might have better luck.

Thanks but I don't have anything other than my old 30-pin camera connection kit and a 30-pin to Lightning adapter to connect to the IPad Pro. I do have a USB to mini-USB cable that probably came with a camera, but was not aware there is any way t
