Can't access Safari

I cannot access Safari at the moment. I keep getting a message saying "There is no application set to open the URL x-fs-bp-query:///?r=safari-extension%3A//com.f-secure.browsing-protection-6KALS AFZJC/f1bd6e5e/&b=safari"

I assume this has happened because I deleted the Talktalk F-secure from my Applications as I no longer use Talk Talk. However the Talktalk supersafe logo still appears in settings.

I am having to send this from the Guest account which seems to work OK.

Can anyone help please?

You may have to start your Mac in Safe mode and see about fixing the Admin

user account or whatever main account has that issue. And it may involve re-

installing the same software you deleted; so then if it allows original function

to work again... then maybe see about un-installing only the third-party S/W.

{Or try starting Safari (in the problematic user account) in its safe mode, to see

if there are any propriety extensions the software you removed has left behind.

Not sure, I think you launch Safari with shift key, to open browser in safe mode.}

For 'all system safe-mode' startup (not Safari-only) see this support article.
