Cannot print LA Times crossword

Cannot Print LA Times or Washington Post Crossword with Sierra but can with Firefox

First of all, the Washington Post cross-word site (uses LA Times puzzle) complains about Safari 10.1 (El Capitan 10.11.6) needing to be updated for this flash-based game. I have the last Flash update installed: 25.0.0.148 as of this post date.

Next, the game has a dedicated print button that must be used.

And when you do, you get this print panel that sends a full page cross-word puzzle to my printer.

I have Safari and an updated Flash and until this week pressing the print button did send the crossword to my printer.

It no longer does but I can print it from Firefox.

I am aware the Washington Post crossword is from the LA Times but I have the same problem there.

If you haven't done so already, try resetting the printing system.
