The App Store does a very poor job on this. ITunes Connect comes up at the top of the list when you search “iTunes” but that app is only for developers and content providers. You need the iTunes Store.

Does anyone have an answer to this question (error msg 2002) for those of us who are NOT developers and who CANNOT resolve this conflict with the replies to date? Noticed that there are numerous queries but I have yet to see a response that helps mere iTunes users resolve this “conflict”. One that prevents us from iTunes tasks, such as updating version, etc.
