FCPX 10.3: Missing audio enhancement options

I've noticed a strange thing that I am hoping someone will be able to help me with. Depending on the clip I am on, my audio enhancement options disappear in the inspector. And before you say "click the show button because it is hidden," it isn't that. I am an apple certified trainer, and the material I am using is from the pro training books (10.0 and 10.1), so, if any of you have the media lying around, feel free to try this out and see what I mean.

I go into the event Delicious Peace and Zero to Hero. The video clips don't show enhancements (in the browser or a project). The music and VO does.

but visible in audio clip

I go into Fairly Legal, Mobileviz Minutes, and I Think and the option is back.

Now, the question is WHY?!?! I need to know why this option is available for some media but not all...
