iOS 10.3.1 does not work with -3DR Solo APP

After the last update to 10.3.1 my iPhone stopped working together with my 3DR Solo APP

Anything I can do? OR do I have to wait for Apple to make a new update?

Hi!

I was afraid they would not update their APP, this is like winning the lottery!

It works - belive it or not! I have 5 of their drones that uses the Solo APP, think what that would have done with drones with a value of more than $ 5000

I hope next time Apple updates - that the Solo APP from 3dr will work afterwards, if not - I will leave my iPhones without the update. I can not afford to loose more than 5000 Dollars. IT will be cheaper to loose a couple of iPhones - AS long as they are required to control these drones.!!

Have a nice day!

Regards Finn Kristoffersen.

As a developer they receive all the beta versions that Apple puts out and should be able to update their software in a timely manner to be released when the iOS update is released. It is their problem. When skipping an update do some research first and check to see if they update contains significant security updates that you need. And check if the developer has an update ready.

In regards to Finn Kristoffersen's misinformation: It is the App developers responsibility to keep their apps updated! With1.5 million Apps in the App Store the App Developers either need to abide by Apples guidelines or get out of the App Store until they do as not to cause conflicts with our Operating Systems. There are many App Developers that unfortunately are just plain irresponsible are lazy as not to keep their Apps current. Apple does not structure its Operating Systems around 3rd Party apps. It is the App developers that have the privilege of selling their apps in the Apple App Store that need to keep on track and current as not to cause SW conflicts to our valued Apple customers! What you have is a 3rd party developer that is not looking out for you, not Apple. With over 1 Billion iPhone users Apple is not about to change its updates or Operating system for any App that the developers is not keeping updated. If this app does not work for you, then you need to find an app that does, by a developer that cares about their product!

Actually Updates from Apple are worth in the Billions of dollars as thousands companies depend on the iOS be updated to continue running smoothly and seamlessly with their system. Another good example along with all the corporations are the U.S. Armed forces and the Pentagon. Apple engineering and R&D stays on top of this and does an excellent job!
