Multi-Output Device sync issue

Hey guys,

I'm trying to get the built in speakers on my MacBook Pro to output sound at the same time as my Doss SoundBox Bluetooth speaker. I have set up a Multi-Output Device in Audio Devices Utility and it is working but the sound is out of sync between the 2 sets of speakers. I have tried everything I can think of, choosing either for as the "master device", toggling "drift correction" on and off for either or both, but nothing is working. It would sound amazing if they would just play in sync. Sometimes they get close to being in sync but then they drift apart again. I think the BT speaker is actually playing ahead of the laptop speakers.

This is on the latest macOS Sierra 10.12.2.

Any advice?

Do you have any other Bluetooth device within several feet of your set up. If so disconnect all Bluetooth devices and start over by placing your Doss speakers in very close proximity of your MacBook. Check to see that they are in sync the move them to the location you want and start adding back in any other Bluetooth devices. If they fall out of sink as you add another device, then that is your culprit. Keep in mind that Bluetooth is basically a low gain radio station, things can interfere with the signal.
