How to erase iPad with broken touch screen and broken home button

First of all, I'm new to the apple community forums so If I post in the wrong place or whatever, forgive me. 😝

So the story goes... My iPad's screen got cracked. I tried to replace the screen myself. While attempting repair, the ribbon cable connecting the screen to the iPad snapped (facepalm). So now I have an iPad unresponsive to touch.

I was thinking of selling it for parts, but I don't know how to erase it. I've never set up Find My iPad on this device. I also can't put the iPad into DFU mode because the home button doesn't work. AND it has a passcode. Amazingly, it is set up to iTunes on my computer, but I need to unlock it for it to sync. So, what do I do now?

If there is no way, guess the only option is to trash it. Lesson learned, don't repair the screen yourself. 😝
