Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities scubaguy09,

It looks like you're needing some assistance updating the password for an email account on your iPhone. You've come to the right place for help.

To update your email account settings on your iPhone, go to Settings > Mail > Accounts, and then tap on your email account there. Depending on which type of account it is, you may not be able to update the email address password from within Settings. If this is the case for your email account, select the option to Delete Account after you select the account from the Accounts section. Once its deleted, you can then re-add the account with the correct password using the steps in the iPhone User Manual, specifically this section:

Set up other mail, contacts, and calendar accounts

In addition to the apps that come with your iPhone and that you use with iCloud, iPhone works with Microsoft Exchange and many of the most popular Internet-based mail, contacts, and calendar services.

For information about setting up a Microsoft Exchange account in a corporate environment, see the Apple Support article Set up Exchange ActiveSync on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Set up an account. Go to Settings, choose a setting to configure (Mail, Contacts, or Calendar), tap Accounts, then tap Add Account.

You can add contacts using an LDAP or CardDAV account, if your company or organization supports it. See Add contact accounts.

You can add calendars using a CalDAV calendar account, and you can subscribe to iCalendar (.ics) calendars or import them from Mail. See Use multiple calendars.

Hello again scubaguy09,

If you're getting an alert about that data being removed from your iPhone when you go to delete that email account, it means that data is currently syncing to your iPhone from the email server. You can also verify this by accessing the data through your account online. When you go through the process of adding the account, you will be given an option to enable Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, and Notes. Synced data should come back to your device once you add that account back as long as you set it to do so.

Cheers!
