Excel Issues

Since the latest Excel update only certain files will open now on both my iPhone & iPad I can try to open a file with no issues I can edit, print it etc. with no problems then I'll try to open a different file and I get the following message "this version of Microsoft Excel can't open workbooks with Microsoft Excel version 5.0 dialog sheets"

Any help will be appreciated
