Have Apple ever sold a waterproof iPod shuffle?

It sounds like you may have a fake product that claims to be an iPod shuffle or you have brought a product modified by a third party (possibly Audioflood). In that case your warranty is with that company not Apple.

Perhaps I'm wrong but I don't recall Apple ever claiming the iPod shuffle is waterproof.
