Magic Mouse 2 , An advice please

I have the Magic Mouse ver 1 for 4 years now.

Using it with Mobee charger .

Now the Mobee's batteries are weak and this company no longer replying or exist .

I can use ordinary batteries or Apple's batteries instead.

Is it worth buying the Magic Mouse 2 with inside charting batteries ?

And keep my present Magic Mouse unused .

Any advice will be appreciated

I suggest you try using Energiser or Duracell for the time being. If you have a charger, all very well, use the rechargeable versions.

You are currently with Sierra. MM2 was designed for El Capitan and above so you should be fine with the new one. But having said that, there have been a few reports of problems.

Interestingly, the old MM1 and the USB version work fine with all current MacOS's so continue with the above (paragraph 1) and keep an eye on these columns for news..
