how do i delete an app i paid for

I have an app that cost $4.99 a month and I want to delete it. How do I stop this monthly charge.

You can delete the app from your device(s) in the normal way : https://help.apple.com/iphone/10/#/iph248b543ca

Deleting the App will not stop the recurring subscription.

You must cancel the subscription first:

Follow the steps in this support document to cancel the associated subscription, then delete the App from the iPhone the normal way.
