Red light on front facing camera?

Okay so at the moment I was looking through my phone and then realized a faint red light coming out of my front facing camera. I turned on my light to get a better look but then it disappeared, so I turned off the light and turned off my phone but still nothing. So I turned on my phone will in complete darkness and I could see it. It's on the right side of the camera so I guess it's closest to the earpiece. I sorta searched it up and it said it had something to do with water getting in the phone so I got worried. Is this anything I should be freaking out about?
