I am running a MacBook Pro with Sierra 10.12.4. Now my Magic Mouse doesn't show up in the bluetooth preferences pane even though the mouse is in discovery mode. This mouse was connected previously. I've tried removing the batteries, etc. and the light is flashing, showing that it is in discovery mode, but it simply doesn't show up in bluetooth preferences. Can anyone help?

Have you tried clearing your bluetooth plist?
I have done this, and it still doesn't show up. So, there is no mouse profile already present and no new mouse shows up in the bluetooth preferences pane. I don't use a bluetooth keyboard. Any other suggestions? It is the original magic mouse. Could it be due to software updates?
How would I do that?
