6s plus cdma to gsm unlocking?

Hi, new to the forum. I have a 6s plus through boost mobile. I seen a few high rating sellers on eBay offering full gsm unlocking
. Does
anyone have any experience with unlocking a boost/sprint cdma phone to use on any gsm network?
If so can I still go back to boost/sprint after unlocking or is only compatible with gsm? Also what is the
worst that can happen if I give the eBay seller my ime

the iphone 6s should have an IMEI as well as an MEID number. This is what differentiates if it can be used on a GSM network or not. If it has both of those numbers, as long as your carrier sprint unlocks the device, then you will have no issue transferring to a GSM carrier. You can find the IMEI number and MEID in Settings > General > About.

ONLY the carrier the phone is locked to can authorize unlocking it. No one else. The ebay sellers offering this service are running a scam (at best) or are part of a criminal enterprise (at worst).
