I updated to iOS 10.3.1. Now I am having problems with my calendar app on my iPad Air 2

Please help. I recently updated to iOS 10.3.1 and now I am having problems with my calendar on my iPad Air 2. Any suggestion. the events will not open up for me to edit once I touch it. I cannot even add new events. I use the calendar in the month mode.
