Frustrated: Why are my Apple Pay transactions all of a sudden being denied? 6s

iPhone 6s iOS 10.3: Never had a problem with Apple Pay until this week. Transactions now being denied on all the cards in my Wallet when they used to work fine for months. Transactions now denied in Panera bread where I always use it, and trying to buy an eGift card through iMessage using the Starbucks app, and on Groupon I can't pay with Apple Pay anymore. My bank accounts are all fine, plenty of money. My bank representative stated there are no declined transactions anywhere. Something is going on because other people are reporting the issue as well. I re-did all my fingerprints too. Is it iOS 10.3 or what? I'm sure it was working on 10.3, but not anymore. I even removed my cards, re-added them - still no different. I did the same on my iPad Pro 9.7" still on iOS 10.1. I didn't do anything different to my phone except upgrade to 10.3. What changed? I don't know what else to try and I've spent hours researching this on the internet and not finding any answers... However, I didn't reset my phone to factory settings, and I don't see why I should since I didn't do anything different. The cards work fine if swiping/inserting chip in the POS. Anyone have any intel on this? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Today is October 2nd. This is the 2nd time I have had my iwatch Apple Pay denied at Starbucks since the update was installed. There seems to be a problem. I took the AMEX card out and reset the watch, then I put the card back in and I was again “Denied”. I contacted AMEX and they said they see no problem on their side. Something is not communicating with my iwatch or Apple Pay!

RedCandy - wondering if you got this issue fixed? I'm having the same problem and have made myself crazy trying to get it corrected! I've rest, reset and erased to factory settings, deleted and entered a different card, restored from iCloud back up and set up as a new phone. Apple Genius Bar did all the same things and then a "harder" reset. More diagnostics and found that the sensor and connections were fine. So next I switched phones with my husband, bit 6Plus s phones, but he'd never even used Apple Pay so I figured he wouldn't miss if it if didn't work. After all the backing up and erasing and re-setting up and adding a card: it still doesn't work! So I take his phone, set up as him with his business cc set up and it wont work!

I don't know if it's our account? Something to do with the actual card (although I used both a Wells Fargo and a Capitol one card and neither worked).

It's making me crazy! Has anybody found the problem and a fix for this? It's infuriating!

thanks!
