Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker Not charging
Hi, I'm hoping someone can assist here. I have a Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker which has developed a problem where it will not charge up (or the software thinks it's not charged).
The first signs of something going wrong was when it got stuck on Charging at 90%. I resolved this by unplugging it and letting the charge drop to around 50% and then plugging it back in. That worked.
Recently I had the same issue but unplugging it and letting it drop in charge has had no effect. I have tried the following:-
- Change cable (brand new)
- Update the firmware
- Reset (Press and hold the power button until the lights flash)
- Plug the cable directly into the speaker
- Plug the cable into the Dock
Nothing has worked. The speaker works but, I'm guessing, the software has a bug and will not allow it to be charged.
Reading the Apple warranty indicates that Apple will have nothing to do with it - just a case of "tough cookie bud".
