I want to change the colors of the tags. Can someone please post where the source file is..so I can go in and edit it?

I dont know why tags color changing is such a taboo thing. WE used to have more options for colors..cuz lets face it..I have more than 5 things going on. I would say most professionals and adults do.

Especially in Photography and video production. Tags do not help when you are using them for visual reference..versus english. Afterall, color coding is used for COLOR separation...not words. If for quick visual reference...reading takes too long...and moving your eye..a hundreds times to a separate column is a huge time waster when you have to do that thousands of times a day.

So.

We need to add and change colors...even if I can edit the ones there....those colors wiill make more sense to me..the customer...the user...the creative....NOT APPLE

I don't know about changing the definitions of the colors.

You could do a search for all files of a particular color in finder. You could change all these files to have a different color.

You could write some code to change one color to another color. Here are some examples:

ps. I'd do a full backup of your machine before messing with tags.
