Approve this iPhone. Go to one of your other devices signed in to iCloud to approve this iPhone. I don't own another Apple device! How can I do this?

Ive logged into my apple account and my icloud account. funny thing is when you do that it sends the two factor authentication to the phone that is begging to be approved. so you have to use that verification number off of my 'unverified phone' to log into icloud on the computer. I have and had my wife go through i cloud and cannot find where you "approve" the phone. my phones are all there including this one. they are devices that verify my account, but there is no link or button to "approve this phone". its ridiculous. I've been a mac guy for 30 years so I thought I could figure this out. but I cant.

I believe this can be affected by signing into your Apple ID account (search google for the URL) and then logging into your Apple Account. You don't necessarily need a different Apple device (it is worded to support Apple products). What you need is access to your Apple account through a different device.

I dont have another phone to update this

I have gone to another device as well as icloud and it keeps returning. So when I get to the point to approve iphone again, we wait and wait.

it says go to one of your other devices signed in to icloud to approve this iphone

no it says to Approve this iphone
