How to enable syslog on OSX Server???

I want to use my OSX Server as a syslog server, so that devices on my LAN (such as Apple Airports) can send their log messages to the OSX Server.

OSX (a.k.a. macOS) contains a syslog daemon named 'syslogd'. How do I configure the Server software so that it will listen for incoming syslog messages, and log them?
