Viber on my iphone7+ won't get push up notiffication.

I am having the same issue. After updating the Viber App yesterday, this started happening. I thought it maybe the internet at work, but then it continued to happen after leaving work, and all through the night. My boyfriend and I primarily use this app, and it has worked fairly well, and have not encountered this issue before. I have gone through all the troubleshooting steps recommended on the web such as restart, notification settings, checking the do not disturb, etc. Nothing is working. The last resort would be uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and I don't want to go that route if not necessary, and really shouldn't have to. I have reached out to Viber, and have not heard back. I have the iPhone 7 too, with the latest software. I don't know what to do.

I have the same problem. I purchased a new iPhone7+ and Viber notifications now have ceased and no matter what I enable, IOS keeps turing off notifications and will not sound nor banner alerts unless in the App. Further, even the messages count on the App does not work now. Viber was perfect on the iPhone6 I had and the new iPhone7+ has had so many issues. I also found that my Apple backups exclude my personal music - Apple had no solution after 5.5 hours on the phone. Some 4 days later and spending a lot, I have no solutions.

Is there a fix for Viber (im on the latest IOS and Viber); its a simple push notification and appears IOS is disabling this. At one stage I opened the App and went to setting to see IOS move the slider for notifications from ON to OFF. There seems to be a conflict or a bug. Either way it would be helpful to get a fix. Can anyone help?
