Mail app disappeared after update 10.3.1
After I updated an iPhone 7plus to 10.3.1 the mail app and email accounts associated with it have been removed. What can I do to retrieve the mail app or reinstall it?

Same thing happened to me on both IPad and IPhone: Inbox mail. Nothing else is gone. However, everything is as should be on my Windows desktop. What is going on? Help. Apple Support has been no help.
I have this problem and none of the solutions suggested to solve it on the Apple Support area help me. I have also lost 'mail' and 'icloud' areas in settings and the App store no longer opens! All these things happened on 7th October. Help!
i tried to, but it said i already had an account and i have lost the emails...
Installing the app is not the same - the mail was installed as a "primary" application when I set up my 1st iPhone
But what do you do if the App store will not open/ and none of the other solutions suggested here work either......
All my I cloud emails disappeared....
It's possible you enabled the Restrictions function for that app in iOS 10.3.x. This prevents the app icon from appearing on the iPhone homescreen. Go to Settings>General>Restrictions -- then make sure the missing app is toggled to green. If it was not already green, then this should make the app reappear.
If the mail app was literally removed (as opposed to being placed in a folder), you may re-download it from the App Store.
