Belkin N300 F9L1002v1driver 10.4

Does anyone know where (or, if) I can find a driver for a Belkin N300 (F9L1002v1) for OS 10.4? I have had zero luck.

A quick web search appears to indicate that only Windows software is available from Belkin for this USB wireless (Wi-Fi) adapter. If so, this would not be unusual. It is not easy to find early Mac OS X drivers for USB adapters. Sometimes, you can try a search for the chipset, and following that Mac software (if any) for this chipset. Otherwise, the best solution is to make sure that the supplier can guarantee support for your Mac system (two example USB adapters for 10.4 can be seen at https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/wireless/).

If you want to avoid the drivers problem, choose a wireless Ethernet bridge (also known as a gaming or media adapter) instead. This kind of bridge device (for example, Linksys WET610N and Netgear WNCE2001) would allow you to connect any Ethernet-enabled computer to a wireless router, using almost any operating system. A Wi-Fi range extender with an Ethernet port (such as TP-Link RE200) may have similar capabilities.
