harmonica plugin for Logic

EXS24 is Logics’ software sampler which is where you would load in the Harmonica sounds (samples). The EXS24 converts digital audio sounds into patches that can be played on your keyboard as midi notes (sounds).

“Kontakt” is a package from ‘Native Instruments’ . (easily found with google)

They have a free trial package that includes their ‘Player’ , Sampler and a bunch of free sound samples (some quite good) and is compatible with LPX as a plugin.

The ESX24 is one of the main samplers in LPX that is responsible for many, many of the midi patches (instruments) that are playable in Logic.

There’s a complete explanation of how and what it does in the Logic documentation, specifically in the Instruments section of the documentation.

If you want tutorials, your 1st stop should be uTube and just search for ESX24 there.

No less that 50 choices will come up and there you go.

Basically, after you download the samples it’s only a drag and drop affair into the ESX24 sampler.

From there, you’ll save it, and it will be playable on your keyboard as an instrument.

It’s only a Marine Band Harp so it’s only 1 or 2 octaves but it’s pretty cool.

I found this particular guys’ series very helpful and in this particular one here, he goes through how to load in some samples into the ESX24 and play them.
