Crossfades in take folders not working

When I am comping from different takes in a take folder, I can usually switch between takes while the instrument is playing a note, and Logic's automatic comping crossfades make the transition between the takes quite smooth. But recently I've been getting pops/clicks where the switches between takes are, just like if I didn't have a crossfade in place. I need to find a place where there's almost nothing audible to switch between takes, otherwise I get a pop/click. For example, if there's a really quiet decay from a guitar and I switch to a different take in that spot, a can hear a pop/click where the switch is. This is really annoying as I rely on Logic Pro X's take folder system a lot when editing music.

I have a macbook pro from late 2013 and Logic Pro 10.3.1.
