Google Maps not printable from Safari

Just as a heads up, for whatever reason at present Google Maps are not printable from Safari.

If you try you will first be presented with a Google Maps "Print" button, which when clicked will show a largely blank page in the Print preview; if you go on to print the map anyway, you will get the same page printed as was shown in the preview (a largely blank page) like this:

This issue has been reported to Apple and the only workaround at present is to use another browser; Chrome for one seems to work properly.
