creating an ad for recital program

The images and text in any of the templates are 'placeholders' which show you where an inserted image or text will appear. Pick a template that fits your task, then replace the placeholderswith images ad text of your choosing.

What template are you using?

Tested in Pages 6.1 under MacOS Sierra 10.12.4

For example, in Template Chooser > Certificates > Kids Certificate:

Double click to open that Template in Pages.

Try a single click on any part of that document to activate it. and type your own text.

You may need to click twice to see an orange background. That is 'Place Holder' text. Type your own text. Don't be put off by 'LOREM IPSUM DOLOR". that is some nonsense 'Place Holder' text.

The actual images and text in any template are unimportant.

Even their position, they can all be altered and added to.

All you need are Textbooks to put words in and Objects/Shapes for the images, rearranging those, changing fonts, color etc is your business.

I know this one is so common! and I correct it, then, behind my back, it does it all over again. The same with you and yours, combined with my Apple Keyboard tending to drop the first letter when typing fast or capitalising two letters at the beginnings of words.
