Can I remove hotspot password?

As famously said in a past post "the title says it all".

For those who cant understand why anyone might want to do this, my reason is as follows;

An Android phone can be successfully used to hotspot internet to a particular pocket PC, but only if there is no password. Will save me time, money and resources in my business.

Many thanks.

A password is an obligatory step to set up a personal hotspot (if you are talking about sharing the internet connection from your iPhone). You cannot remove it completely.

You need to set a Wi-Fi password in order to set up a Personal Hotspot.
