HP Deskjet F4180 - Unable to scan with Color Restoration
Hi guys, long time no post!
Hey, I have a nice and functional all-in-one HP Deskjet F4180 that I use together with the Apple-supplied printing/scanning software. If you have an HP devices very likely, you'll know what it looks like. I really like the software for scanning purposes but I'm running into a problem in that, some time I have to select Color Restoration mostly when scanning faded tickets but on macOS Sierra, when checking the corresponding box, the software becomes pretty much useless. I can no longer hit any of the 'Hide Details', 'Overview' and 'Scan' buttons at the bottom of the window and I have to restart the utility.
I know with previous versions of the OS X, this checkbox would work just fine, I have verified it by launching an older OS from my external drives. Any ideas as to what I can do to bring this feature back to functionality?
Thank you very much in advance for your help..!
