Is there a way to convert any Adobe RGB to SRGB within photos?

I am a former Aperture user, now using Capture One 10 for my editing, but have decided to use photos as a way to organize/share/edit through my ~30,000+ images. I am only importing JPEGs, and will be leaving RAWs for Capture One (I shoot JPEG+RAW). Many of the JPEGs are Adobe RGB. Is there a way to convert all of these images to SRGB within Apple Photos? I would rather not have to convert (export) and re-import all of the images as there are already 18,000+ in photos, many of which have already uploaded to iCloud Photos.

Thanks!

You cannot modify the originals in Photos; if you want to change the color profile of a phot,o you have to create a new version with a different color profile when you export the photo from Photos. There are no other tools to change the color profile; Photos does not even show it in th Info panel or lets you search for it with smart albums.

The selection of color profiles when exporting is limited:

When I export with "Most compatible", it seems to default to sRGB, so that seems to be what Photos is using internally.

If you want a specific color profile in Photos you could edit the photo with a photo editing extension that can change the Color Profile, for example in Preview. But that will be a lot more work than simply exporting and reimporting, and it will also create an additional original image file for the externally edited version, so nothing will be saved.
