My laptop is connected to the internet, in fact I'm typing on it right now. But at the same time the wifi status bar keeps switching between "Looking for network" and "On" every other second. How can I resolve this?
I had this problem before, but after a quick restart it's resolved. This time the problem persisted after restarting.
There's nothing wrong. When you click on the WiFi menu item the OS thinks you are doing so because you want to switch networks - so it checks to see what's available.

I believe that's normal. Mine has been doing that for I don't know how long, and I've never lost connection. Quit looking at the Wi-Fi icon in the upper menu bar and all will be fine.
When you click the Wi-Fi icon, the Mac assumes you're doing that for a reason. Its "Looking for Networks..." status message is normal.
Yeah, the problem is when it does that I can't ssh to another computer, and I need to do that for my job :/
