time machine mounts after verification

After verifying time machine is it normal behavior to mount the drive? The real question though is why are all my past desktops black instead of snapshots?

Hi,

Yes, I believe so.

Desktops?

If you mean the backup folders in Backup.backupdb > user name folder > numbered backups, that doesn't sound good. Can you open any using the path I provided?

What was the result of Verify the TM disk (do you mean in Disk Utility)?

Is this a new backup, like you changed machines or anything?
