Is the AnyTrans app safe to install on a MacBook? I can't find it when I search the App Store. Is it safe to download apps from the internet?

There are a lot of Mac apps that are available for the Mac that are not in the Mac App Store (MAS). As long as you are downloading a well-known app from the developer, that is likely a safe source for non-MAS apps. I would never download apps from 3rd party aggregator sites. You never know what ugly extras have been added to the app installer.

Base on personal experience, AnyTrans has just help me switch my iPhone 6s to iPhone 8 without effort.
