iphone stuck in headphones mode

My iPhone 6s Plus is stuck in headphones mode only when playing videos or music? I've tried the q-tip trick, blowing air out, putting it in rice I've also reset my phone several times, it still glitches when trying to play music or a video. I can make calls and the SPEAKERS WORK I can set a different ringtone and the sound will come out of the speakers, but when trying to play audio or listen to music it keeps saying headphones. I can't change the ringer volume cause it thinks I have headphones in. A small amount of water possibly got into my phone from it being near a water bottle but everything else acts completely fine, it's more of a software glitch than hardware I think. Any suggestions? Does my headphone socket need replacing?
