Hi willybezz ,

I understand that this iPhone constantly says "Sending" at the top of conversations in Messages . I'm happy to provide some help for this issue.

I recommend using the troubleshooting steps provided here:

If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Try these steps first

  1. Make sure that your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is updated to the latest version of iOS .
  2. If you have an iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular), check for a carrier settings update.
  3. Check your network connection. To send a message as iMessage or MMS, you need a cellular data or Wi-Fi connection. To send an SMS message, you need to have a cellular network connection. If you have Wi-Fi Calling turned on, you can send SMS messages over Wi-Fi. Contact your carrier for more information.
  4. Check with your carrier to see if the type of message you’re trying to send, like MMS or SMS, is supported.
  5. If you’re trying to send group MMS messages on an iPhone, turn on MMS Messaging. If you don't see an option to turn on MMS Messaging or Group Messaging on your iPhone, contact your carrier.
  6. Make sure that you entered the correct phone number or email address for the recipient.

If you still need help, find your issue below to see what to do next.

willybezz ,

Thank you for following up with that additional information. Does this happen when sending SMS messages as well? If not, then try turning iMessage off and then on again:

  1. Go to Settings > Messages .
  2. Turn off iMessage .
  3. Then turn on iM essage again.
You may also want to force the Messages app closed and then restart the iPhone before testing this out again:

Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Cheers!

I can assure you that all these have been checked out this is an iPhone that is available to send iMessage, SMS, and group messages. The iMessages send correctly to a recipient but there're never marked as delivered. Also within the last day text messages are randomly being deleted and some being sent out of order. Could this your problem with iCloud or the network ?
