So I recently bought a Samsung Portable SSD (T3) and I'm wondering if I should format it or something?
I will use it to store large FCPX-Library files (around 100-200GB each!)
What is recommended?

Most external HDDs will be formatted for Windows computers. Yes do format the drive to Mac OS Extended (Journaled). If you are planning on using the HDD for both Mac and PC, MS-DOS (FAT) or ExFAT formats will work.
