-2012 MacBook Pro
I decided I wanted to boot to Windows, held option at restart and I got an error
"A disk read error occurred
Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart"
Wasn't able to do anything
Tried to boot back to Mac OS, same error.
Tried internet recovery and I can't seem to accomplish it, I always get an error.

Reboot holding alt (a.k.a. option) to see if you get a list of disks to boot from, if 'Macintosh HD' or a similar (Mac boot disk) appears select that & continue to see if it boots.
For Internet recovery try connecting via ethernet if possible.
Internet Recovery requires a good connection to the internet & sometimes Wi-Fi isn't good enough. Reboot holding cmd+alt+r to start Internet recovery. Keep trying go that error appears, sometimes it can take ages & multiple attempts. Try another network if you have access to another one.
Also try just cmd+R to see if the built in recovery works at all.
If you can't get 'internet' or 'standard' recovery to start another option is to get the OS via another Mac. Download a suitable OS from the store & use that to repair/ examine/ backup after making an installer via

It works well if you have suitable cables & a second Mac.
The difficult part may be fixing this issue. It seems like you have a damaged disk, meaning that the OS cannot find any usable file systems to boot from.
The important question is …

I'm sorry to hear it is not working out for you. I think you want to check the hardware, depending on what model you have the hardware test/ diagnostics should be built into the firmware…

If that reports any errors make a note & post them here please. It's possible that the hardware is failing. Those tools will test that - they may not catch every error but it could help you get an idea of other options to try.
For Apple Hardware test enable loop mode (hit cmd+L) then run the standard & extended test a few times to allow the Mac to warm up - some errors can take a while to appear. Re run diagnostics for the same reason if you have that instead of AHT.
If that does not work or fails to show any errors I'm not really sure what your next option is, you could try installing the OS to an external disk. That could work if the internal disk is causing the issue. Do you have a disk to do that?
What models of Mac do you have? Do you have cables to use Target Disk Mode (I linked info earlier)? That can allow you to inspect the disk to see if it is mountable or possible to format.

Google has the pages on 2106f not -2106f for some reason.
I didn't find what -2106f means. Seems like a bad hd.

Hey, thanks for the reply.
I've managed to get to Internet Recovery, and tried to install OSX and it didn't, error when installing it.
Gave up and erased my drive, and instead gotten Sierra from my other computer.
Tried clean installing and I could only manage to get it to install, (it stopped as soon as it said less than a minute remaining. It shut down and back to square one.
And now I damaged my only more than 4 gig external drive.
Yeah, I've almost given up on getting this working, I'm almost certain it's a bad HD.
